A message from Jenetta Russell

A huge thank you to everyone for going above and beyond the call of duty this morning to make the Daffodil Day at Wahroonga Station and Village a huge success.

21 volunteers in total raised $1,576.40 for Cancer Council by selling 90 dozen bunches of daffodils and lots and lots of $5 badges and straight donations.

We had a great deal of fun, lots of laughs and many regulars such as the Station Manager and 'Kate' with her guide dog who have both been wonderful supporters for many many years.

This year 10 Knox boarders included our volunteers and in teams of two buddied up with a Rotarian, enthusiastically supporting the cause.

We started at 6.00 am and by 8.30 had pretty well sold out of everything.   Hopefully your work this morning will go towards helping research to end the scourge of cancer.
