Community Service Awards 2026-2027
What is a Rotary Community Service Award?
The Community Service Award Program enables us as a society to recognise individuals within our community who demonstrate dedication and commitment in a voluntary capacity to a service organisation or project.
The successful recipient of a Community Service Award will be invited to be present as the guest of Wahroonga Rotary Club for the presentation of a plaque and reading of a citation.
What are the qualities needed to receive a Community Service Award?
The Community Service Award is designed to acknowledge any member of our community, irrespective of age or vocation, who displays outstanding qualities in terms of approach, dedication, attitude and commitment to service.
The following criteria are considered when deciding the successful recipient:
Demonstration of:
Exceptional commitment to an organisation or project
A positive approach and a spirit of generosity of their time and talents
A commitment to service in the extended community
How do I nominate someone?
If you know of anyone who meets the criteria, please complete the nomination form.
The awards will be presented in April 2027. Closing date for nominations is 20 December 2026.
