At Tumblong Hills,  we like to think of ourselves as a community within a community; a tapestry of experienced vineyard operators who have honed their craft in some of southern NSW’s most substantial and progressive wine regions, now working towards a shared idea of creating wine.

We’re also sustainability-minded. We have began transitioning our products to Lean+Green wine bottles which are made from 90% recycled glass. This means our wine will be more environmentally-friendly and have less of a carbon footprint.                                                  (Click on image to read more)

At Macaw Creek, our organic wine making philosophy begins in the vineyard where the least intervention possible is applied to the growing of grapes. Situated between the Clare and Barossa Valleys in South Australia's Mt Lofty Ranges, the Gilbert Valley is unique in in its proven ability to produce quality Rhone varietal grapes in an organic environment free from systemic fungacides and pesticides. Such grapes lend themselves beautifully to producing table wines that are elegant with ripe fruit expression and definitive palate structure. Eminently approachable at a young age, Macaw Creek wines will also reward careful cellaring.

Our new wine selections are shown below

Tumblong Hills Track Winding Back Shiraz 2019
Deep black purple colour with a bright purple hue. Freshly crushed ripe cherry and red liquorice aromas mix with fresh herb and light pepper notes. Medium bodied the palate is flush with ripe dark cherry and red liquorice fruits which overlay a back drop of earth, infusions of fresh herbs and pepper. Bright finish with slightly grainy tannins and a vibrantly fruited aftertaste.
Fiano 2019
Bright lemon yellow in colour. Aromas of citrus, ginger and jasmine flowers. Flavoursome on palate, the wine shows zingy citrus and subtle lees-ageing support.
Tumblong Hills Chenin Blanc 2021

Lifted Aromas of honeysuckle, pear and quince. The palate is lively and textural with pear juice and ginger flavours and a crisp acid finish.

Shiraz 2019
Deep magenta in colour. Beautifully ripe, red fruit aromas coalesce in a generous and wonderful regional signature. Plum, cherry and raspberry fruit flavours occupy centre stage, while French oak influence provides further depth of flavour and supportive length.
Sangiovise 2018
Subdued crimson red in colour. The bouquet is reminiscent of cherry, rhubarb and dry herbs. Being medium weight, the palate texture is silky, while the flavours are complex and memorable.
NV Sparkling Brut
An elegant blanc de blanc made in a brut style with aromas
of citrus peel and grapefruit, the palate has good length with
green apple flavours and lemony acidity on finish.
