President's Message
Last week our Immediate Past District Governor David Clark paid us a visit via Zoom. I was keen for David to share his past year with us, both the highs and lows. David mentioned he had to find new ways and include new technology for his DG year to be successful. And this he accomplished. One shining example was the District Conference, Rock the Boat, which was a virtual conference and very well attended. For those who missed attending the virtual conference, or would like to see it again, here’s a link to a recording.

David’s talk last week was highly informative and it was good to see our member involvement with lots of questions during the meeting and during the following Coffee Meeting.
This week we welcome our District Governor Lindsay May OAM and Tania to our Zoom meeting. Lindsay is a highly experienced Rotarian and well known to several of our RCW members; he brings a lot of enthusiasm and will have a successful year, even with the existing challenges.
On a personal note, this past week I was to attend a sod turning event in Wagga Wagga for a new PCYC. I had planned to visit several PCYCs on the way to Wagga Wagga (via Goulburn) and on the way back (via Bathurst). This event has been postponed due to the lockdown extension.
