Dear Rotary Club Secretary,
I have very recently read your really wonderful Centenary Guide to Wahroonga Park.
"I was shocked to read the Wollemi planted in 2006 has 'disappeared'. I have bought another one from the RBG Sydney. I want to donate it with good strong protective fencing round it. It couldn't have had it.
The fine Araucarias planted on Stuart Street have really come into their own over the last few years and not to have a Wollemi seems truly sad. I understand, though, that it could not be planted in the vicinity of those marvellous tall trees already there as it would be too obvious and easy to remove.
I look forward to a reply from you soon.
Thanks in particular to the clever, civic-minded people who compiled this succinct and interesting little booklet."
