Record numbers attend the Rotary Club of Wahroonga annual Christmas Party
On Sat 8 December over 70 people attended a fun-filled Christmas Party held at the home of Past President Neil McWhannell and his wife Heather. At just $30 a head, the evening provided incredible value with all canapes, Christmas meats and alcohol provided. This was able to be achieved through each member bringing a salad or dessert to complete the food on offer. With James Hancock on the bar, all members were well and truly catered for.
Neil and Heather were assisted by a team of carvers who enthusiastically dissected numerous pieces of turkey, ham, chickens and pork whist sampling some of the sumptuous extra large prawns. A number of new and prospective members also attended and were made to feel most welcome.
Special thanks to Rochelle and Jonathan Wiley who also assisted with cleaning up throughout the evening.
