Abbotsleigh and Knox, in partnership with The Sony Foundation, annually co-host a four day (three night) holiday camp for children with physical and intellectual disabilities in December each year, alternating between the Knox and Abbotsleigh campuses.

The camp is for 20 boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14 who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Camp activities include swimming, interactive music activities and craft, an excursion to a Sydney attraction, pony rides, special guest visitors and much more.

Several Wahroonga Club members were there to help with lunch!

The aims of ABBOX are to:

  • Provide a fun camp for children with disabilities at no cost to parents
  • Provide children with opportunities they may not otherwise experience
  • Offer respite care to families
  • Offer our senior students an opportunity to learn through serving others
