WildThings NSW is a not-for-profit organisation with the Goal “To promote, protect and enhance urban wildlife and their native wildlife and their required habitat in Ku-ring-gai and NSW”.

This presentation will highlight a number of recent projects which WildThings NSW has undertaken in Ku-ring-gai with enthusiasm and persistence, including the installation of 100 natural hollows in trees for habitat for native animals and birds, the establishment of 10 small bird habitat sites and a demonstration project on the creation of hollows in dead trees.

It is also very active in knowledge transfer and holds forums and workshops in this regard, the latest held in conjunction with The Wilderness Society being “Meet your MP” and “Writing effective submissions to governments”.
