Club members were treated to a wonderful expose this week from Bob Nowotny, Director of Tunneling for NorthConnex talking about the challenges and outcomes from the work being conducted under ground in our locality, to undertake the many aspects to the 9km tunnel that is the largest and deepest in Sydney, longer than the Harbour Tunnel, Cross City Tunnel and Lane Cove Tunnel all together--which will be known as the Northconnex Tunnel by passing Pennant Hills Road and connecting with the M1 Motorway
