Refugee Welcome Event

The Club's 9 months of involvement with this project culminated at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower garden yesterday at a well organised Welcome to Refugees event.

 

Over 100 Refugees attended and community volunteers. Our participation was to man the BBQ and drink facilities--all enjoyed the experience immensely and we thank the Mayor Cheryl Szatow for her invitation to support the project along with our friends from the local Gordon Lifeline team.
