Members were treated to an enthusiastic presentation from Mrs Anne Johnston --the Principal of Ravenswood Girls School this week--on some of the current day methodology in teaching young women many of the wellbeing strategies important to growing up in todays society. Anne's enthusiasm and knowledge of the topic was certainly on show.
Ross Catterall's guests were Jim Overocker (centre below) came from Eagan Minnesota, a suburb of St Paul USA and
Jonathon Darcy from Pennant Hills and the two are brothers in law as they married sisters, Jonathon has known Ross Catterall for 30 yrs and does orienteering with him each week.
Anne Johnstone holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) degrees and a Graduate Diploma in Education. She has been the recipient of a Winston Churchill Fellowship and conducted her research into exploring ways to foster resilience in learning while based at Cambridge University in England.
