A hard fought challenge

The teams assembled at 10am on Sunday last for the long awaited 20 over Cricket Challenge between the Basanta Foundation Team and Wahroonga Rotary.

 

The venue was the Karuah Oval in Turramurra.

 

WRC team made up mostly of young sons and grandsons but a few Rotarians turned up to show the talents--Wahroonga scored 135 but were overhauled by the more experienced Basanata Team in 12 overs. It was a great day and the Nepalese food prepared was welcomed --PP Marlene Carty thanked all those who participated and came as a supporter to made the day enjoyable .
